ISPs Selling Out Customers, Pushing Backdoor SOPA

Anyone remember SOPA and PIPA that they were trying to pass awhile back in the U.S. that was going to use the excuse of "stopping copyright infringment" as a vehicle to censor the Internet? And we thought we won, right?

Well....here's some unfortunate news...

Also, has ANYONE heard of ACTA? Or basically, a backdoor international version of SOPA/PIPA but worse?

Unfortunately for those who don't live in Europe, I'm not totally sure what else I can be done beyond signing petitions, tho... :/ I guess we can continue spreading awareness? I do find it scary how little ACTA has been talked about, at least in the U.S. anyway.

*foams at the mouth on her floor* ARGH! Signed more petitions! I've been very actively against this stuff since it erupted, I just wish they would give it up...(though why would they when they are winning? This is disgusting!)

I can't believe my email hasn't been flooded with notices on this stuff, my anti internet censorship whistleblowers have been asleep at their posts! Thanks for bringing this to my attention, Pumpkinhead!
